The streets here are new, some of them have no signs, and some do not go through all the way.


FROM DOWNTOWN KAPOLEI SAFEWAY:

Go east (toward Waipahu) on Kamokila Boulevard.

At the first traffic light (Chile's is on your left), turn right on to Fort Barrett Street.

At the third traffic light, turn right on to Kapolei Parkway.
If you have passed Kapolei High School, you've gone too far.

From Kapolei Parkway, make your first left on to Kunehi Street. (There may not be a street sign yet at the beginning of this block, so you won't know it's Kunehi Street.) You will see a stone wall on your right that says, "Mehana."

Go one block on Kunehi Street, and turn right on to Kakala Street.

Go one block on Kakala Street, and turn right on to Manawai Street.

Look for Unit 409 on your right-hand side. The number is at the top of the stairs.

Park on the street.

Kapolei Counseling is on the GROUND FLOOR, behind the gate, to the right of the steps. Look for a stone bench and two glass doors. There will only be a small doorknob sign (the kind you hang outside your hotel room to tell maidservice to let you sleep.)

Do NOT go up the steps! That is a private residence!





FROM H-1(FREEWAY):

Take the Makakilo/Kapolei cutoff (Exit 2).

At the first traffic light (at the top of the exit ramp), turn left on to Makakilo Drive.

Continue going straight downhill.

Makakilo Drive become Fort Barrett Street at the second traffic light.

At the fourth traffic light, turn right on to Kapolei Parkway.
If you pass Kapolei High School, you've gone too far.

From Kapolei Parkway, make your first left on to Kunehi Street. (There is no street sign yet at the beginning of this block, so you won't know it's Kunehi Street.) You will see a stone wall on the right that says, "Mehana."

Go one block on Kunehi Street, and turn right on to Kakala Street.

Go one block on Kakala Street, and turn right on to Manawai Street.

Look for Unit 409 on your right-hand side.

Park on the street.

FROM EWA BEACH:

Go west (toward Costco/Waianae) on Roosevelt Avenue.

Turn right (mauka) on to Fort Barret Street (at the entrance to the old military base).

Pass Kapolei High School on your right-hand side.

At the first light immediately after Kapolei High School, turn left to Kapolei Parkway.

From Kapolei Parkway, make your first left on to Kunehi Street. (There is no street sign yet at the beginning of this block, so you won't know it's Kunehi Street.) You will see a stone wall on the right that says, "Mehana."

Go one block on Kunehi Street, and turn right on to Kakala Street.

Go one block on Kakala Street, and turn right on to Manawai Street.

BY TheBus:

TheBus #41 goes between Kapolei Transit Center and Ewa Beach Transit Center. Buses run every half hour from early in the morning to late at night.

Get off on Kapolei Parkway near Kapolei High School.

Walk west on Kapolei Parkway (toward Waianae) and cross Fort Barrett Street to the other side of Kapolei Parkway.

Make your first left on to Kunehi Street. (There is no street sign yet at the beginning of this block, so you won't know it's Kunehi Street.)

You will see a stone wall that says, "Mehana."

Look for the sidewalk that is perpendicular (NOT parallel) to the street. On the left side of the sidewalk are the buildings; on the right side of the sidewalk is an empty field.

Walk on this sidewalk until it ends. You have now hit Manawai Street.

Turn left on Manawai Street and look for Unit 409 on your left-hand side.
